Q. How do I know if I have a case?

We will interview you and/or meet with you to discuss your claim. We will obtain your medical records, review them and have them reviewed by the appropriate expert medical witness.

Medical malpractice claims are very complex, so we will perform an extensive investigation and analysis and explain our conclusions to you. At the end of our investigation, we will be able to explain exactly what happened and why, even if there is no malpractice on the part of the healthcare providers involved.

Q. Do I have to pay legal fees and expenses out of my own pocket?

No. We pay all expenses and costs. Legal fees and expenses are reimbursed only if there is a recovery. There is no obligation or fee for consultation and there are no fees or expenses if there is no recovery.

Q. What if I cannot come to your office?

We have two convenient locations: downtown Baltimore and downtown Washington, D.C. However, if you cannot come to our office, we will come to you.

Q. What if my case was turned down by other lawyers?

We have settled cases for millions of dollars that have been rejected by very qualified lawyers. We will perform our own analysis of your claim.

Q. Is there a time limit (statute of limitations) to file a claim?

Yes. There are different time limits for different types of cases and in different states. If you think you have a claim you should speak to a lawyer as soon as possible.
